The Wardrobe
I seriously ought to sort out my wardrobe and bookcase. Throw away all the unneccessary, useless stuff.

Bushed-man
So, I've gone karaoke'ing! The only thing left to do is to bring Eva for a visit to the Singapore Zoo.
The past weeks haven't been good for me. So bushed with work, four very 'heavy' assignments and my 'I-can't-help-but-to-label-them-as-FON' patients. Finished Semester 2 2009 of my course when I clicked 'Send' for my fourth assignment but my happiness is short-lived when I received my timetable via email yesterday. Apparently, I will be starting classes again on 23/11/09. That is so SOON!! Boo.
I was occupied with a project's completion report and presentation for the past weeks. My team finally presented today and won a Silver Award at today's NIQCC Presentation Ceremony. *pats back* I can't asked for more. Alhamdullilah.
I've also submitted my study proposal to Singhealth's IRB. I'm crossing my fingers, and toes if necessary, for the study to be approved.
Now, I've got to do a write-up of my project for national stuff and prepare a poster of it for cluster presentation. That and the conference report that I need to complete by next Monday. Plus I need to start on the application for Curtin's ethics committee to approve my study.
Good fun eh? Give me some oxygen. I can't breathe now. =[

Till I Close My Eyes
The song for our beautiful wedding. It sure brings back lots of bittersweet memories.

More Love
Well, before all that happened on the 28th, I felt the love lurking around me surrounding my hatch-day. Hee.
I've been posted to Ward 64 for barely six months but the girls caught me by surprise when they bought me a pre-birthday cake and sang the obligatory birthday song in their sweetest serenade.

Me with my 'not-new-anymore-but-always-new-to-me' girls of Ward 64.

And of course, the people in Ward 42 will never ever forget my birthday. This is my personal request - Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol, which they really bought as my birthday present. Well, along with a sweet little bookmark and Esprit vouchers to go. I've said it before, I'm blessed.

Who's The Fairest Amongst Us All?
A quick update.
I'm up to my neck with assignments (note it's in plural), projects (note it's in plural), piles of work (plural again!) and my fussy patients (more plurals!). I thought I will die or something coz all I did for the past 3 weeks or so, was to (and still am) rush to meet my deadlines. Expectations of others, inclusive.
So, here's a little something that made me smile. If you really know me well, you'll know what is my prize possession. Mirror!! Even friends of 10 years ago were amazed by my obsession with looking into the mirror at 5mins interval till today! They said I never seem to change. Hee.
And so, I caught my little girl admiring herself with the mirror one evening. Probably, checking for zits at odd places.

Merayap In The Morning
Brought Eva for breakfast at Causeway Point's KFC earlier this morning, together with the rest of my siblings. With the exception of Amal of course, who had an 8am lecture. The rest of them were having the in lieu Deepavali holiday. Shared between us, 3 bowls of KFC AM Porridge, waffles & eggs, KFC AM Twister and 3 hashbrowns. Ana had a cup of root beer, which I thought was too early to have in the morning.
After breakfast, we went to Popular. Am so looking forward to receive Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol from Ward 42 girls, as my birthday present. Checked out the price of the book - gosh, it costs $48+. Quite pricey eh. Ana got herself a 2010 management diary, I got a bottle of ink (I so need it for my name stamps!) and Danial chose a crossword puzzle for himself, which was supposedly to bought by Baby but because the latter hasn't finish her exams, I bought it for Danial instead.
Ana bought two hair clips, one for her, the other for Baby while the children had fun wasting our $1 coins on Causeway Point's kiddy rides. Trust me, there are a lot of them in Causeway Point.
On our way to Basement 1 to get our cars, I made Ana buy me two pieces of shawls as an advanced birthday present, from the atrium. Hee. Nice.
